Guangzhou Zhixin High School — Enclosed and Support Venues

In the same 2020 programme, Guangzhou Zhixin High School took delivery of 144 units of the QP Tunnel Light to serve the school's enclosed venues and associated support areas at a maintained illuminance of 1,000 lux.

Matching a supporting programme to the main ground's 1,000 lux class was a deliberate decision. It means that activities which migrate between venues — training displaced by weather, larger events split across several spaces, or individual disciplines using their own hall — do so without any shift in visual conditions. Consistency across a campus is worth more, in use, than a single impressive headline space. The QP platform provided the uniformity and ruggedness needed across a large fixture count: sealed against dust and moisture, resistant to impact, and built for continuous daily operation. High-efficacy LED engines with flicker-free control gear keep video capture clean for school recording and event streaming, while central DALI control allows scenes to be set per space rather than per room. Standardising with the MS2 units on the main ground also simplifies the school's spare-parts and maintenance picture.

The whole programme was completed and verified as one package. Run across multiple seasons since, it has performed without unplanned maintenance, and the school has since referred Sense to additional campus work.

Commissioned and verified before handover, the installation has run through successive sports seasons without issue. School management highlighted both the championship-level lighting quality and — compared with the system it replaced — the drop in energy and maintenance outlay.
